UNIUYO Postpones Hostel Accommodation Opening 2025

UNIUYO Notice on Reopening of Hostel Accommodation 2025.

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has issued a notice informing students about a change in the previously announced hostel opening date.

According to an internal memorandum from the Accommodation Officer, dated November 12, 2025, the hostels will no longer be opened as earlier scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The delay is due to urgent matters requiring attention in some hostel areas:

The memo states that students will now be checked into the hostels starting from Monday, November 17, 2025.

However, students who have been allocated bed spaces and have arrived from distant locations are advised to report for temporary accommodation at W5 Hostel for males and W2A Hostel for females.

The notice was signed by Ekwere, Offonmbuk M., Principal Assistant Registrar (Student Affairs Division).

All concerned students are advised to comply with the directive.
