Recipients of the WAAW Foundation Scholarship will be awarded a financial grant of $500 for the academic year, or the equivalent in their local currency.
Scholarship awardees will have the opportunity to reapply for renewal in the subsequent academic years, provided they maintain a consistent record of exceptional academic performance.
Eligible Courses for WAAW Foundation 2025 Undergraduate Scholarships For Female African Students
The WAAW Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships are open to students pursuing the following STEM-related courses:
1. Engineering
2. Mathematics
3. Science and Technology
Requirements For WAAW Foundation 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship for Female African Students
To be eligible for the WAAW Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Be female students of African origin, currently residing and studying in Africa.
2. Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
3. Pursue STEM-related courses in a university or college within Africa.
4. Currently be a first or second-year student or a third-year student for a 5-year course in a university.
5. Demonstrate a genuine financial need.
6. Maintain an excellent academic record.
7. Showcase proven leadership abilities, active volunteering experience, and community service engagement.
8. Be below the age of 32 years.
Required Doccument For WAAW Foundation 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship for Female African Students
Applicants are required to submit the following documents when applying for the WAAW Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships:
1. Two reference letters from reputable referees.
2. A signed and sealed copy of the applicant’s current transcript from their university.
3. A scanned copy of the applicant’s school ID card.
