Sashauna Perkins, a talented individual from St. Andrews, Jamaica, stood out among 40 competitors to secure a prestigious full scholarship worth 20,000 pounds for her master’s degree at Swansea University in the United Kingdom. Perkins, awarded the scholarship by Swansea University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA), emerged as the top candidate from a pool of over 40 applicants, as indicated on the university’s website.
The scholarship, designated for the MBA program, aimed to recognize an individual demonstrating exceptional potential in becoming a forward-thinking and innovative leader. While all applicants showcased remarkable qualities, Perkins distinguished herself with a unique and imaginative application that clearly outlined her vision for leveraging her degree to benefit her community.
Expressing her gratitude, Perkins remarked, “I am so proud to have received the full scholarship to study the MBA at Swansea University.” She highlighted the university’s commitment to nurturing sustainable and people-centric leaders, emphasizing its focus on both human and shareholder values in business.

“I hope to expand on this after my studies and intend to join senior management immediately after graduation, where I will contribute to industry reform and experience further growth.”
