University of Cross Rivers State (UNICROSS) formerly Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Resumption Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session


The management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced a change in the resumption date for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a circular issued on October 9, 2025, and signed by the Acting Registrar, Idim E. Ekanem, the new resumption date has been moved from Monday, October 13, 2025, to Friday, November 7, 2025.
The circular explained that the adjustment became necessary to allow lecturers to complete the uploading of students’ results, enable the university management to focus on preparations for the upcoming accreditation exercise, and carry out essential maintenance work in students’ hostels to ensure a conducive learning and living environment.
All staff and students have been urged to take note of the new date and cooperate with the university management to ensure the smooth running of academic activities.
Management appreciates the patience and understanding of all students during the period of the industrial action and remains committed to ensuring a conducive learning environment. Students, staff, and all stakeholders are enjoined to cooperate for a smooth and successful academic session.
