OAU Convocation Ceremony: Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Programme for the 49th Convocation Ceremony.

This is to inform ALL members of the University Community that the 49th Convocation Ceremony is scheduled to hold from Thursday, 11th to Saturday, 13th December 2025
As we eagerly anticipate the University’s 49th Convocation, scheduled to hold from Thursday, 11th to Saturday, 13th December 2025, the Ceremonials Committee is committed to ensuring a seamless, secure, and pleasant experience for all participants.
In line with this, we wish to inform all members of the University-campus community of the established gate access charge for vehicles entering the campus during this celebratory event.
Vehicles without the official University-approved sticker(s) will be subject to a nominal fee of N1,000 (One Thousand Naira only) per day.
This measure is designed to facilitate and preserve the sanctity of our academic festivities.
We kindly urge all staff members whose vehicles currently lack the requisite staff car stickers to procure them promptly from the designated office prior to the Convocation dates. By doing so, you not only ensure uninterrupted access but also contribute to the smooth running of the event.
Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines will be instrumental in ensuring an atmosphere of unity, pride, and joy throughout the celebrations. Together, let us make this year’s Convocation a resounding success.
Thank you.
