Female OAU student Graduates With First Class And Received Nine Awards

CURSORY: Female Nigerian student graduate with first class from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), and received nine awards, she shares her story.

A Nigerian girl Islamiyyah Abdullateef has outstandingly graduated with a first class degree from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in addition to nine other awards.

The young lady graduated from the department of accounting and management which is a very competitive and tough course with an amazing CGPA of 4.90/5.0.

In her words: “I’m thrilled to share with you, a milestone I’ve achieved. I have officially graduated from the department of Management and Accounting, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife during the 47th convocation with first class honours (4.90 CGPA), having completed my first degree.”

She admitted that her journey through school was a difficult one and it really tested her determination and resilience, but it only motivated her to do more, and as such she didn’t give up.

She said: “The journey wasn’t particularly easy. It was full of ups and downs but the hard work, resilience and dedication paid off and I’m extremely grateful for that. I am particularly grateful to God for making this happen.”

She showed gratitude towards everyone who had being with her through her journey especially her parents, for their sacrifices towards her education, she also thanked her lecturers, for their impactions in her life, her mentors, for their guidance and motivation and her friend for their encouragements.
