University of Delta State Agbor, UNIDEL notice on students medical tests

It has come to the knowledge of the University Management that a large number of students have not done their medical tests as prescribed by the University Medical Services. This unfortunate development has created a situation where in the event of a student taking ill, medical personnel do not have the basic medical information such as X-Ray, Genotype, Urinalysis and other vital signs to handle such emergencies which if not precisely handled may lead to any unfortunate outcomes.
The University Management at its meeting held on Tuesday 9th January 2024, viewed this matter seriously and has therefore given two weeks spanning Monday 15th, January to Wednesday 31st, January 2024 for all students that have not done the tests (both old and new) to undertake their medical tests. For the new students, they would not get their Matriculation Numbers unless they conduct their tests with proper medical files opened.
The nitty-gritty of the arrangements for the tests would be made known by the Medical Services Unit.
