The Screening Exercise: Your First Step
- Initiating the Process: Begin by visiting the FUTD student admission portal at https://admissions.futd.edu.ng using your JAMB Registration Number as the Username and your State of Origin as the Password.
- Document Submission: You are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- JAMB’s Admission Letter
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Result
- Declaration of Age
- National ID Number (NIN) Slip
- Payment Details: Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and complete your payment using a bank app or by printing the RRR slip and proceeding to any bank for payment. It is important to note that only candidates who complete this payment can register for courses and be eligible to receive academic instruction.
- Finalising the Screening: After a successful screening, return to the student admission portal to print out the University’s Admission Letter.
B. The Registration Exercise: Securing Your Courses
- Course Selection: Go to the Course Registration section on the student admission portal to select your courses for both the first and second semesters.
- Course Registration Form: After course selection, print out the completed Course Registration Form.
C. Reservation for Accommodation: Ensuring Your Comfort
- Accommodation Portal: For accommodation reservations, visit https://admissions.futd.edu.ng, navigate to the Accommodations section, and follow the prompts. A service charge payment is required for evidence.
- Accommodation Payment: After obtaining your RRR, make the payment and update your profile on the portal. Note that the accommodation reservation expires after 24 hours if payment is not confirmed.
