Nigerian Army Education Sponsorship For Children Of Deceased Personnel 2024/2025 Academic Session.


The Nigerian Army is set to conduct a verification and screening exercise for children of deceased personnel as part of its education sponsorship program for the 2024/2025 academic session. This initiative ensures access to quality education at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels for the children of personnel who lost their lives in active service.
The screening exercise will be held across the six geopolitical zones and Abuja between February 8 and March 17, 2025. Prospective applicants, beneficiaries upgrading, and those who missed the previous screening are encouraged to participate.

Education Sponsorship for Children of Deceased Personnel
The Nigerian Army is offering education sponsorship to children of personnel who died in active service. This sponsorship covers primary, secondary, and tertiary education.
Screening Exercise Schedule
The verification and screening exercise will take place in different locations across the country:
- South-South Zone: February 8-11, 2025, at Headquarters 6 Division, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
- South-East Zone: February 13-16, 2025, at Headquarters 82 Division, Enugu, Enugu State.
- South-West Zone: February 18-21, 2025, at Headquarters 2 Division, Ibadan, Oyo State.
- North-East Zone: February 24-27, 2025, at Headquarters Nigerian Army Armour Corps, Bauchi, Bauchi State.
- North-West Zone: March 1-5, 2025, at Headquarters 1 Division Nigerian Army, Kaduna, Kaduna State.
- North-Central and Abuja Zone: March 10-17, 2025, at Army Headquarters Command Officers’ Mess Asokoro, Abuja.
Eligibility and Requirements
The exercise is open to new applicants, beneficiaries upgrading their sponsorship, and those who missed the 2023/2024 screening exercise. Required documents include:
- Handwritten application for sponsorship
- Letter of admission
- Last report card/results
- Other relevant documents
