EDOCNS Appoints Mrs Oforogba Lawretta Enogieru as New Deputy Provost

The management of Edo State College of Nursing Sciences has officially appointed Mrs Oforogba Lawretta Enogieru as the new Deputy Provost.

This is to inform the College Community of Edo State College of Nursing Sciences and by extension the general public that Mrs Oforogba Lawretta Enogieru has been appointed as the new Deputy Provost of the college with immediate effect.

Until her recent appointment, Mrs Oforogba was the pioneer Head of Department of Midwifery and also a midwife educator at the college.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Sciences and a Masters degree in Nursing. She is a registered Nurse, a registered Midwife, a registered Public Health Nurse, a Midwife Educator and a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria NMCN.

Mrs Oforogba Lawretta Enogieru is a professional health-care educationist and practitioner with enormous experience in exceptional patient care, basic life support system, emergency rescue, antenatal and postnatal services, paediatrics and community nursing. She has co-authored several books and written multiple journals in nursing and midwifery.

The appointment of Mrs Oforogba has again brought to bear the actualisation of the college mission and vision statement which is pivotal in creating an enabling system for innovative nursing education, aided by technological advancement in grooming a new breed of nurses and midwives who will align with global best practices with regard to professional healthcare delivery.

Mrs Oforogba Lawretta is happily married with children.
