FUTMINNA Admission into Newly Approved Undergraduate Programme 2025/2026 is Out. The closing date is on Tuesday, 21st October, 2025.


The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) is pleased to announce the commencement of admission into nine (9) newly approved academic programmes following the approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Qualified candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME and meet the University’s admission requirements are invited to apply for the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) Details
- Start Date: Saturday, 18th October, 2025
- End Date: Midnight, Tuesday, 21st October, 2025
Eligibility Criteria
- Only UTME candidates who selected the Federal University of Technology, Minna as their first choice during the 2025 JAMB are eligible for the screening exercise.
- UTME candidates must have scored not less than the minimum cut-off marks for the various programmes in the 2025 UTME, as shown below, along with the required five relevant O’ Level subjects and appropriate JAMB subject combinations.
- iii. Candidates below 16 years of age as of 30th September, 2025 are not eligible to apply.
- iv. Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only through the REMITA platform.
- v. Candidates who do not meet the above requirements will be allowed to change to any other course whose requirements they meet.
- vi. All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in subjects relevant to their proposed courses at not more than two sittings.
Important Note: Candidates are to ensure that their ‘O’ Level results are uploaded on the JAMB website (CAPS). For the list of relevant subjects for each Course/Programme, check the homepage of the University website. Any false declaration could lead to a candidate’s disqualification at any stage of the admission process.
How to Apply for FUTMINNA Admission into Newly Approved Undergraduate Programmes
- Visit the University website and click on “2025/2026 UPASE (2025 UTME)”.
- On the page that appears, click on ‘UPASE-UTME’.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and one of your names, then click ‘Login’.
- If your UTME/’O’ Level subject combinations do not meet the minimum requirements for the course registered with JAMB, choose another course from the list of Departments.
- Click on ‘Proceed to payment gateway’ and confirm your entries.
- Click on the ‘payment link’ button to proceed to the payment gateway. Payment can be made via Debit Card or at a Bank branch (by generating RRR from the application portal).
- Enter ATM Debit Card details (Card number, expiry date, CVV 2 [the 3 digits on the back of your card], and PIN number).
- If payment is successful, the screen will display all the data you previously entered.
- Click on the ‘Print’ button to print the document.
