Delta State University Of Science And Technology, Southern Delta University Reiterates Mandatory of 70% Lecture Attendance Policy.

Managemnent wishes to notify all Academic Staff and Students that the University’s policy on minimum lecture attendance requirement is fully in force.

Accordingly, students are required to attain at least seventy percent (70%) attendance in Lectures to qualify to sit for examinations in their respective courses.

Academic Staff are hereby directed to ensure proper monitoring and documentation of students’ attendance, while students are advised to attend lectures regularly in order to meet the required attendance threshold.

Please note that failure to attain the stipulated 70% lecture attendance shall disqualify any student from participating in examinations.

All concerned are expected to comply strictly with this directive.
