AAU Ekpoma Academic Calendar: The Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Session is out.

Iam directed to inform you that the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor A.S. Adagbonyin has on behalf of the University Senate, the Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 academic session, as follows:

ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

• Tuesday, 2nd April, 2024 – Fresh students come into campus
• Wednesday, 3 April, 2024 – Course registration/orientation for fresh students begin
• Monday, 15th April, 2024 – First Semester Lectures for fresh students begin
• Saturday, 4th May, 2024 – Old students come into campus
• Monday 6th May, 2024 – Lecture begins for old students
• Wednesday, 8th May, 2024 – Normal course registration/lectures for old students begin
• Tuesday, 14th May, 2024 -Matriculation for fresh Students
• Monday, 20th May, 2024 – Deadline for upload of the 2022/2023 Session Results
• Wednesday, 22nd May, 2024 – Normal course registration for all students ends
• Wednesday, 29th May, 2024 -Late course registration for all students ends
• Tuesday, 11th June, 2024 – Continuous Assessment for all students
• Tuesday, 16th July, 2024 – First semester lectures end
• Monday, 22nd July, 2024 – First semester exams begin with GST and ENT Courses
• Saturday, 28th August, 2024 -First semester examination end

BREAK 

• Thursday, 5th September, 2024 – Students come into campus
• Friday, 6th September, 2024 -Second Semester Lectures begin
• Friday, 11th October, 2024- Wednesday, 16th October, 2024- Continuous Assessment for all students
• Monday, 18th November, 2024 – Second Semester Lectures end
• Thursday, 21 November, 2024 – Second Semester Examinations Begin with GST and ENT courses
• Friday, 20th December, 2024 – Second Semester Examinations end
• Monday, 20th January 2025- Tuesday, 21 January, 2025 – Faculty Boards of Examiners meet to consider results
• Thu.; 23rd-Fri.; 24th January, 2025 – Business Committee of Senate meets to consider results
• Wednesday, 29th January, 2025 – Friday, 30th January, 2025 – Meetings of Senate to consider results/end of academic Session

The Senate approved that all academic staff compulsorily key into the use of LMS to teach their courses and that there should be no vacuum in teaching and learning during the period under reference.
