Professor Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu Emerges Abia State University new Vice Chancellor


Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the appointment of Prof Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu as the new Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University with effect from the 1st of December, 2020.
The appointment follows the formal presentation of the recommendation of the Governing Council led by Senator Adolphus Wabara, PhD, to the Governor sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent Vice-Chancellor, Prof Uche Ikonne, on the 30th of November, 2020.

- Prof Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu, got his first degree in Banking and Finance. He got his MBA and P.hD in France.
- He was the Head of Banking and Finance Department
- He was born on the 18th July, 1956 (He is 64 years old as at 2020).
