Akwa Ibom State Schools Resumption Date for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been Announced.
The Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Education has released a statement concerning the closing date for the first term of the 2025/2026 academic session and the resumption date for the second term.
Closing Date for 1st Term 2025/2026: Friday, December 12, 2025
Christmas Holidays Period: Monday, December 15, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026
Resumption Date for 2nd Term 2025/2026: Monday, January 5, 2026
All Public and Private Primary, Secondary and Technical Schools are directed to comply accordingly.
The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Professor Ubong Essien Umoh, extended well wishes to the pupils and students, wishing them a restful holiday, a Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year in advance.
