Babcock University Resumption Date 2025 Announced [UPDATED]
Babcock University NOTICE TO STUDENTS AND PARENTS ON RESUMPTION FOR SECOND SEMESTER FOR 200L-600L STUDENTS AND CONTINUATION OF FIRST SEMESTER FOR 100L AND NEW 200L DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS.
On behalf of the President/Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Prof. Ademola S. Tayo, we extend our warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season filled with peace, hope and love all through the New Year. Having come this far, by the special grace of God, we have the assurance that better days are ahead.
By this notice, we wish to inform you of the schedule of resumption for the second semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Session for 200L-600L students and continuation of the first semester for the 100L and new Direct Entry students as follows:

I. MONDAY, January 13, 2025 100, 500, & 600 level students.
ii. TUESDAY, January 14, 2025 200 level students.
iii. WEDNESDAY, January 15, 2025 300 & 400 level students.
iv. Classes begin on THURSDAY, January 16, 2025 for all 2001-600L students.
NOTE:
i. On arrival on campus students are to proceed directly to their respective halls of residence.
ii. All returning students are to present their evidence of payment (Student Receipt) for the semester at their respective halls of residence before access to their allocated rooms.
iii. Only students with proof of payment of school fees, or sufficient balance in their student accounts will be allowed on campus.
iv. THE FIRST SEMESTER PAYMENT BY 100L and new 200L Direct Entry students still suffice until the end of their first semester. However, all 100L and new 200L Direct Entry students who have not made full payment of their first semester fees SHOULD ensure they do so BEFORE resumption.
iv. The schedule of school fees is on the university’s website at www.babcock.edu.ng
PARENTS SHOULD NOTE THAT NO STUDENT WILL BE RECEIVED ON CAMPUS BEFORE THE RESUMPTION DAY. STUDENTS ARE TO RESUME ONLY ON THE STATED DAY FOR THEIR LEVELS.
Meanwhile, the portal for online registration remains open to all students. We wish all a safe return.
Bed sheet sets with bed spreads, pillow case. and mattress cloth cover with zipper. Corporate dressings (both African and English), Shirts, trousers for men. All female clothing must be at least 3 inches below the knees, laptop, Bucket, laundry bag, towels, wash cloths, pressing iron, alarm clock, soap and toiletries. flash lights and Study lamp, electric kettles, and rechargeable lamp.
WHAT NOT TO BRING AND NOT ALLOWED
Jeans dresses, short mini-skirts, female trousers, pencil trousers, low neckline clothes, spaghetti straps, tight cloths, jewellery and colored make-up kits, any clothe that reveals the upper extremities, mid-riff or other suggestive areas of the body, cooking utensils or food that need to be cooked (Indomie), personal furniture, weapons, candles, boiling ring or any other dangerous appliances, knives, metal forks, bottles, bleach or any kind of chemical, bushy hair and be ards.
