Bayelsa State Schools Resumption Date has been Announced.


The Bayelsa State Government has directed all primary and secondary schools in the state to resume for the 2021/2022 academic session on Monday 25th October 2021.
This was announced in a statement by the Commissioner for Education, Gentle Emelah.
Upon critical evaluation of the flood situation in our dear state and the relatively fair situation on ground, the Bayelsa State Ministry of Education hereby approves the resumption of schools.
The date for resumption of all schools in the state both Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools for the 2021/2022 Academic session is Monday 25th October 2021.
The government wishes to use this medium to warn all Private School Proprietors in the habit of altering Government approved calendars to stop forthwith as Government will no longer condone such indiscriminate practice.
All stakeholders in the Education sector are also charged to remain vigilant and ensure strict adherence to all school safety regulations in the face of the Covid-19 and it’s variants.
