BOUESTI Announces Discontinuation of Payment of Tuition Fees by Installments

BOUESTI Announces Discontinuation of Payment of Tuition Fees by Installments.

The University community is hereby informed that the Governing Council, at its meeting held on Tuesday, 14th July, 2026, approved the discontinuation of the payment of tuition fees by installments.

Accordingly, with effect from the 2026/2027 Academic Session, the existing policy permitting students to pay 60% of their tuition fees in the First Semester and 40% in the Second Semester shall cease to operate.

Henceforth, all students shall be required to pay their approved tuition fees in full at the commencement of each academic session before completing their registration. The University will strictly enforce the policy of “No Payment, No Registration, No Examination.”

Consequently, any student who fails to pay the prescribed fees in full at the beginning of the session shall not be registered for the session and shall not be eligible to participate in academic activities or sit for any University examination.

All students who may have financial challenges are advised to take advantage of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), an intervention scheme of the Federal Government designed to assist eligible Nigerian students in financing their education.

Furthermore, all students who are yet to pay their tuition fees in full for the current 2025/2026 Academic Session are hereby directed to settle their outstanding fee obligations without further delay.

The University will take appropriate measures to recover all outstanding debts, and no student indebted to the University will be allowed to sit for any University examination until such indebtedness is fully cleared.

All students, parents/guardians and other stakeholders are enjoined to note this directive and ensure strict compliance. Thank you!
