COOU Notice on Appointment of Heads/acting HODs For The 2025/2026 Academic Year

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr hereby appoint/reappoint the underlisted Heads/Acting Heads of Departments for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The appointment of the new academic administrative team takes effect from Friday 22nd August, 2025.

The Vice Chancellor used this medium to thank the outgoing Heads/Acting Heads of Departments for their contributions to the growth of the University in the 2024/2025 academic year while also congratulating the newly appointed ones.

All outgoing Heads/Acting Heads of Departments are to prepare their handover (including bank statements) and transmit to their successors on or before 4.00pm on Tuesday 26th August, 2025.

All financial expense and bank transactions are suspended with immediate effect.

The outgoing Heads are to forward detailed administrative and financial Handover notes to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor by Tuesday 26th August, 2025.

Please, find underlisted, the newly appointed Heads/Acting Heads of Departments for the 2025/2026 Academic Year for your necessary actions.
