Edo State Govt Postpones Public & Private Schools Resumption

The Edo State Government has officially announced the postponement of the resumption of all public and private schools.

The Edo State Ministry of Education has announced the postponement of the resumption of all public and private schools in Edo Central Senatorial District for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a public special announcement issued from the Office of the Honourable Commissioner for Education, the government said the decision was taken to allow the ministry address certain exigencies aimed at improving the welfare of school children in the district.

According to the statement, the postponement affects all categories of schools within Edo Central Senatorial District, and the new resumption date will be communicated to the public in due course.

Parents, guardians, school heads, proprietors, and other education stakeholders in the district have been advised to take note of the development and comply accordingly.
