The Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa has a new rector. Dr. Hauwa Tanko Muhammed, who has been serving as the acting rector, has now been officially confirmed in the substantive role of Rector.


Dr. Hauwa Mohammed Tanko was appointed to lead the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa effective July 1, 2024, succeeding Dr. Samuel James who held the acting position prior to her tenure.
Dr. Tanko comes to the role with an impressive resume, bringing not only her extensive experience in academia but also a vision for innovation and progress.
