FUGASHUA Senate has approved New Centre, Departments and Undergraduate Programmes.
The Senate of Federal University Gashua (FUGA), at its 61st Regular Meeting held on 21 May 2026, approved the establishment of a new Centre for Distance Learning and Professional Development (CDLPD), two new academic departments, and twelve undergraduate programmes, subject to approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The development underscores the university’s commitment to expanding access to quality education, strengthening professional and technological training, and equipping students with skills that meet emerging national and global demands.
