If you’re among the incoming cohort for the 2024/2025 session, please note that the medical registration schedule has been released. This is a vital step in your registration process, and it’s crucial to adhere to the dates and instructions provided to ensure a smooth start to your studies.

LATEST UPDATE: FUNAAB extends Medical registration deadline for fresh students


The Directorate of Health Services, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has announced an extension of the medical registration period for all newly admitted students. The extension, which begins today, Friday, December 6, 2024, would run for an additional three weeks, concluding on Monday, January 13, 2025.

This development was communicated in a circular issued and signed by the Ag. Director, Health Services, Dr. Oluseyi Anjorin. The document directed all concerned Colleges, Departments, and Units within the University to align their schedules with the revised timeline.

The extension provides fresh students with ample time to complete their medical registration process, ensuring compliance with the University’s health requirements. FUNAAB encourages all affected students to take advantage of the extension to finalise their registration promptly.


Clinical Examination Preparation

Before your scheduled date:

  • Collecting Specimen Bottles: Obtain a sterile specimen bottle from the laboratory between 1 pm and 4 pm on the day before your scheduled date.

On your scheduled date:

  • Medical Laboratory Visit: Report to the Health Centre’s Medical Laboratory between 8 am and 11 am with:
    • Proof of laboratory and X-ray payment.
    • The freshly collected urine specimen in the sterile bottle provided.

Note: The specimen bottle is available at the laboratory during working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Medical Registration Checklist

On the day of your medical registration, ensure you have the following between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm:

  1. Student Entrance Medical Examination form (downloaded copy)
  2. Original copy of your laboratory results
  3. Photocopies of your laboratory payment receipt
  4. Birth certificate or declaration of age photocopy
  5. Two recent passport photographs
