FUNAI Notice On Approval To Shift 2023/2024 1st Semester Examination by One Week.

I hope this message finds you well. Sequel to appeal from the Faculty of Physical Sciences on the need to extend the start date for 2023/2024 First Semester Examination, I am writing to inform you that the Vice Chancellor, on behalf of Senate has approved the request to shift the first semester examination by one week. Consequently, the examination, earlier scheduled to start on Monday 29th April 2024 will now commence on Monday, 6th May, 2024.
This decision was made in response to the disruption in lecture delivery occasioned by the extended holidays (Salla and Easter). The adjustment became necessary to ensure adequate preparation and fairness in the examination process.
Consequent on the above, the dates of all courses scheduled in the 2023/2024 First Semester
examination timetable have been extended by one week, in line with the approval given by the Vice-Chancellor.
Please take note of this new start date and ensure that you are adequately prepared. We wish you success in your preparations and in the forthcoming examinations.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Yours Sincerely, Prof. Amobi C. Ekwe (Director, Academic Planning)
