UNIPORT Admission Deferment: Procedure & Deadline for 2022/2023 Academic Session.


We are pleased to inform the public especially students of the University of Portharcourt (UNIPORT) that the management has announced the procedure to defer admission.
Wondering what deferring admission means? To defer admission means you want to delay the admission you have been offered. This is only for students who have been admitted into the school.
Please note that there is no deferment in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Law programs.
Having said that, if you want to pend your admission, kindly follow the instructions below;
Candidates wishing to defer their Admission for the 2022/2023 Session are hereby informed that Deferment of Admission for the said session would start on Monday, July 17, 2023 and end on Tuesday, August 18, 2023.

UNIPORT Admission Deferment Procedure and Guidelines.
- Get cleared at the Admissions Office for Deferment of Admission.
- Pay the Deferment of Admission charge at any of the designated Banks.
- Get the payment confirmed at the Bursary Department of the University
- Return back to the Admissions Office for issuance of the Deferment Form
- Complete the Form and submit at the Faculty.

Please be informed that the last day for issuance of Deferment Forms for the 2022/2023 academic session is Tuesday, August 18, 2023.
