Jimoh Babalola University (JBU), Ilorin, has recorded another significant milestone following the approval granted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) to admit students into its Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc.) Programme.
The approval follows a successful advisory accreditation visit conducted by the Council, reaffirming the University’s commitment to meeting the required standards for quality nursing education in Nigeria. This landmark achievement reflects the University’s unwavering dedication to expanding access to professional, industry-relevant academic programmes that address the nation’s healthcare and manpower needs.
Speaking on the development, the University described the approval as another step in its mission to produce competent, ethical, and globally competitive healthcare professionals who will make meaningful contributions to society.
The Founder and the Management of Jimoh Babalola University expressed appreciation to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for its confidence in the institution and commended the commitment of members of staff whose collective efforts made the achievement possible.
