Misau College of Health Science and Technology has record excellent scored in National Health Exams, Targets NBTE Accreditation for JAMB Inclusion


We are pleased to officially announce the release of results for our first set of students in the recent National Qualifying Examinations conducted by Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN), Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), Medical X-ray and Imaging Technology Education and Training Centre of Nigeria/AMEXTON and Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN). Below is the departmental breakdown of our students’ performance in the aforementioned examinations.
- Diploma in Community Health (CHEW): The students achieved an exceptional 97% success rate in the first sitting. The remaining 3% passed in the resit examination, resulting in an overall 100% pass rate.
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician: The students attained a commendable 72% pass rate. The remaining candidates are currently preparing rigorously for the resit and are expected to succeed with distinction.
- Professional Diploma in Health Information Management: Recorded a 47% pass rate. Students who did not meet the qualifying threshold will undertake the resit examination scheduled for July 2025.
- Diploma in Medical X-ray and Imaging Technology: Secured a 100% pass rate, reflecting the outstanding quality of instruction and student preparedness.

This achievement represents a historic milestone for both the college and Misau community, as we proudly produced about 100 fully licensed healthcare professionals poised to serve humanity.
Furthermore, we are pleased to inform the general public that we are in advanced discussions with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to obtain accreditation for National Diploma (ND) programmes. Upon approval, Misau College of Health Science and Technology will be listed on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal, thereby enhancing accessibility to prospective students nationwide.
