North-Eastern University Gombe has Secured the NUC Approval for New Academic Programmes .


North-Eastern University, Gombe is pleased to announce a major milestone in our academic expansion following the official approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the establishment of new full-time undergraduate and professional programmes effective from the 2026/2027 academic session.
The approved programmes include:
- B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence
- B.Sc. Information Systems
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
This approval follows a successful resource assessment and verification visit by the NUC panel of experts, confirming the University’s readiness in both human and material resources to deliver quality education in these critical fields.
