Federal Polytechnic Oko (OKOPOLY) 42nd Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2025/2026 New Intakes have been announced.


The Federal Polytechnic Oko has officially scheduled its 42nd Matriculation Ceremony for Friday, January 23, 2026. The announcement was made in an internal memo issued by the Head of Public Relations, Mr. Chijioke Ibeziako, on behalf of the institution’s management.
According to the notice, the ceremony will take place at the Convocation Arena, commencing at 11:00 a.m. Matriculating students are to assemble for the academic procession by 10:30 a.m., with the take-off point being the Administration Building.
The matriculation ceremony is a significant rite of passage for new students, formally welcoming them into the academic community of the Polytechnic.
The memo was copied to the Rector, Deputy Rectors, the Acting Registrar, the Acting Bursar, the Polytechnic Librarian, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, the Chief Security Officer, and the Student Union Government (SUG) President.
All newly admitted students are advised to take note of the date and arrangements for the event
The Head of Department is expected to collect matriculation gowns from the stores office for the matriculants.
