The Council of Thomas Adewumi University is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Fisoye O. Kolawole as the Substantive Registrar.


Kolawole Fisoye Opemipo is a seasoned university administrator with extensive experience in higher education management. Born on 4th January 1984 in Ibadan, Nigeria, Kolawole hails from Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration (2019) and a Bachelor of Agriculture in Animal Science and Fisheries Management (2011), both from Bowen University, Iwo.
Before joining Thomas Adewumi University, Kolawole held several strategic positions in higher institutions, including Senior Assistant Registrar at First Technical University, Ibadan, where he served as Personal Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor, and Assistant Registrar at Bowen University, Iwo, where he managed university admissions, regulatory compliance, and student records. He has served as Secretary to Governing Councils, Senates, and multiple institutional committees in his role in university governance.
A recipient of numerous awards, he has been recognized for his leadership in fostering university-student relations, exemplary administrative excellence, and significant contributions to student admissions and institutional growth. He has also participated in numerous conferences, seminars and training workshops on university administration.
His professional qualifications include membership in the Association of Nigerian Universities Professional Administrators (ANUPA), the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA).
Kolawole is committed to academic excellence, institutional development, and effective university administration. His vision as Registrar of Thomas Adewumi University is to enhance efficiency in administrative processes, improve student and staff welfare, and strengthen university compliance with national and international academic standards.
He is married to Mrs. Adedoyin Opemipo Kolawole, and they are blessed with two children. His interests include reading, football, traveling, and music.
