University of Abuja, UNIABUJA Institute for Publishing Studies Admission Form 2023/2024 is Out [STREAM II]. The form cost N30,000. The closing date is Sunday 19th January 2025.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission to the professional degree programme (Master’s in Publishing Studies, MPS) of the International Institutel for Publishing Studies (UIIPS), University of Abuja for the 2023/2024 Academic Session (Stream II).

The University of Abuja International Institute for Publishing Studies (UIIPS) is established to address the lack of a professional programme in Publishing Studies in Nigeria. The bold initiative is aimed at promoting academic standards, ethical and professional values of publishing studies and profession in Nigeria and globally. The UofA has the aspiration that a high- quality programme in publishing will contribute substantially to the skills and development of academic institutions, private businesses and professionals, government and law enforcement sectors, as well as those who seek to become publishers around the world.

General Admission Requirements

• Possession of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English language and Mathematics, at not more than 2 sittings
• A Bachelor Honours Degree in any field from any recognised University. ii. Higher National Diploma (HND) or Postgraduate Diploma in any field from any recognised institution
• Other professional qualifications as recognised by University of Abuja.

Duration

• The admission process runs from November for January intakes and June for August intakes.

Candidates are to pay a non-refundable application fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00) Only through REMITA via University of Abuja integrated portal @ https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng/apply_now.php

• Visit https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng/apply_now.php.
• Among the list of portals, click on International Institute for Publishing Studies
• Enter the required details (surname, first name, other name, email address and phone number) and click Next
• On the payment preview page, click on Generate RRR
• Click make payment and you will be redirected to remita platform, enter your card details (Master Card or Visa Card)
• After a successful payment, you will be redirected back to the portal and application number generated and you will be logged out
• Click on “Main Login”, enter the generated application number and surname as password to continue the application process
