UNIBEN Extends Admission Acceptance Deadline 2025/2026

UNIBEN Notice on Closure of 2025/2026 Admission Exercises.

The Management of the University of Benin hereby notifies all candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session that the earlier deadline for completing their acceptance process, including payment of the prescribed acceptance charges, has been extended from 10th November 2025 to 17th November 2025.

The University urges all newly admitted candidates to act promptly by logging onto the University Portal to process their admission and adhere strictly to the following instructions:

  • Go to portal.uniben.edu and click on Login Menu
  • Login with your User ID ( JAMB Reg. No .) and Password ( your password )
  • You will be prompted to enter a valid email address: Enter your active personal email address to receive your Student ID and a new Password.
  • Go to your email to retrieve your Student ID and Password and then click on the Login to Student Portal button.
  • Use the Student ID and the new Password to login again.
  • To begin your Clearance Process, click on ACADEMICS menu and then select CLEARANCE.
  • To pay your Acceptance fee, use Bank Transfer Option on REMITA (Bank Debit Cards are non-functional)
  • MAKE SURE YOU LOGOUT AND LOGIN AGAIN TO REFRESH YOUR PAYMENT STATUS
  • After paying your Acceptance fee, proceed to fill your Clearance Form appropriately, and submit for approval.
