The Faculty of Engineering, University of Delta Agbor, has presented awards to the best five students for the 2023/2024 academic session.


The Dean of the faculty, Prof. Obiazi Adagbonyin said the outstanding students scored the highest CGPA for the session under review.
The awards which were presented during the faculty orientation exercise according to the Dean was to encourage the students to strive for the best.
The students were Ewomazino Confidence 4.96, Lotachukwu Emmanuel 4.95, Chinedu Godswill 4.89, Veronica Ehi 4.88 and Ogechukwu Divine 4:81.
The students expressed gratitude to the faculty for the awards and promised to work harder in order to retain the awards.
Earlier in his address at the orientation exercise, Prof. Obiazi said the Faculty of Engineering was poised to produce highly qualified and innovative Engineers.
He said that the faculty takes pride in rigorous academic programs, cutting-edge research facilities and strong industry partnership.
He stated that the students would be taught by experienced and dedicated lecturers who are passionate about their subjects and committed to students success.
The Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi urged the students to take both their practical and theoretical learning serious.
He maintained that the institution had provided world class equipment and facilities for their learning.
The VC Rep. at Owa Alero Campus, Prof.( Mrs.) Regina Arisi also admonished the students to take their academic activities seriously and give less attention to social events.
The resource persons at the orientation were engineers Odili E.O, Nduka Azike, Akpo Umukoro and Blessing Joseph Ossai and Mr. Dono.
