UNIMAID Notice on Changing In Working Hours During Ramadan.

This is to inform all Members of Staff that the Holy month of Ramadan commenced with effect from Wednesday, 18th February, 2026.
In order to reduce the hardship associated with fasting, the Vice-Chancellor has approved that Offices open as from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Members of Staff are to note that this arrangement is for the Holy month of Ramadan only. As soon as the period is over, the University will revert to its normal office hours.
May I, on behalf of the University Administration wish all our Muslim Brothers and Sisters Happy Ramadan.
Please ensure that you adjust your schedules accordingly and adhere to these timings.
Thank you for your cooperation.
