YABATECH Academic Calendar 2023 is Out [UPDATED]

We are pleased to inform all students of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), that the school management has released the adjusted academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Details of the updated calendar are as follow:

ADJUSTED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2022/2023 SESSION (FULL TIME PROGRAMME)

FIRST SEMESTER (16 Lecture wks + 1 revision wk + 2 Exam wks) = 18 weeks

• Freshers’ registration – May 8 (th) – Mav 12th, 2023
• ND II Industrial Experience SIWES (14 weeks) – Feb 13th -June 2nd , 2023
• Registration of all returning students – May 15th-May 19th, 2023 
• May 22nd March. 2023 – Commencement of lectures for all students
• May 30th – June, 1st 2023 – Academic board consideration of SEMIC cases and Results
• August 25th – 31st August 2023 – Late Registration (with penalty)
• August 24th, 2023 – Matriculation for 2022/2023
• August 27th -31st August 2023 >Generation of Nominal roll 
• September 1st 2023 -End of Lectures and Certification of Candidates for Examination (75% attendance)
• September 4th – 8th, 2023 > Practical Examinations/Revision 
• September 11th – 22nd 2023 > First Semester Examinations/CBT
• October 3rd -6th ,2023 > Generation of ER4
• September 23rd, 2023 – Students vacate hostel
• Sept. 25th – 29th, 2023  – First Semester Break
• Oct. 3rd – Oct 13, 2023 – Marking and Post moderation of scripts 15
• Oct. 16th – 20th 2023 > Uploading/Processing of Result/ School Board consideration of 
• result/ SEMIC cases

SECOND SEMESTER (12 Lecture wks + 1 revision wk + 2 Exam wks) = 15 weeks

• Registration by all students – 
• Oct. 4th – Oct 16th 2023
• Uploading/Processing of Result/ School Board consideration of result/ SEMIC cases – Oct. 3rd- Oct 9th 2023
• Resumption and commencement of lectures 
• Hostel Opens – October 3rd
• Resumption of 2023/2024 Academic Session – October 4
• Late registration (with penalty) – October 17th- 23rd, 2023
• Academic board consideration of SEMIC and Result –  October 23rd- 27th, 2023
• November 6th – 10th, 2023 – Student /Association Week
• Generation of Nominal roll – January 2nd – 5th  2024 
• End of lectures and certification of candidates for Examination (75% attendance) December 29th, 2023
• Practical Examinations/ Revision > January 8th – 12th, 2024
• Second semester Examination & CBT> January 15th – 26th 2024 
• Students vacate hostel > January 27th, 2024
• Generation of ER4 -February 12th – 16th 2024
• Second Semester Break – Jan 29- April 12-2024
