Plateau State University Approved The Commencement of Four New Faculties.

The Senate of the University has approved the commencement of 4 new Faculties as follows:

• Faculty of Health Sciences
• Faculty of Environmental Sciences
• Faculty of Law
• Faculty of Education

School of Postgraduate Studies

 A. Departments under the Faculty of Health Sciences includes:

• Department of Nursing Services
• Department of Medical Laboratory Science
• Department of Community

B. Departments under the Faculty of Environmental Sciences include:

• Department of Architecture
• Department of Building
• Department of Geography

C. Departments under the Faculty of Education includes:

• Department of Science Education (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
• Department of Education Foundation
• Department of Library and Information Science

D. Faculty of Law is a Mono Faculty
