The ASUU chapter of Niger Delta University (NDU), Bayelsa State, has commenced an indefinite strike, citing the government’s alleged failure to fulfill previously agreed terms.

The decision, made during a meeting at the union’s Amassoma secretariat on Tuesday, is set to disrupt academic activities across the university.
ASUU’s demands include improved funding, better infrastructure, and adherence to agreements by state and federal authorities. As the strike begins, students and staff await further updates on its implications and possible resolutions.”
