ABU 45th Convocation Ceremony Date 2026 Announced [UPDATED]

ABU Convocation 2026: Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) 45th Convocation Ceremony Date has been Announced.

This is to inform members of the University community that the 45th Convocation Ceremony of Ahmadu Bello University will hold from 30-31st January, 2026.

ABU Zaria Convocation Ceremony 

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, FNITP, RTP, FICD, on behalf of Chancellor, Council, Senate, Staff and Students, hereby notifies and invites members of the university community and general public to the 45th Convocation Ceremony.

The programme comprises the following activities:

1) Pre-Convocation Lecture
Guest Lecturer: Her Excellency, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, GCON, Director-General, World Trade Organisation
Chairman: His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, Former President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
Venue: Abdullahi Mahadi Conference Centre, Ahmadu Bello University, Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria
Date: Friday, 30 January, 2026
Time: 3:00 p.m.

2) Convocation Ceremony
Venue: Mamman Kontagora Square, Ahmadu Bello University, Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria
Date: Saturday, 31st January, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m.
