Ahman Pategi University Expresses Gratitude to Founder for Extending Scholarships to 200 Students

The management of Ahman Pategi University, located in Kwara State, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Kazeem A. Gbolagade, has conveyed sincere appreciation to the university’s founder, Hon. Aliyu Ahman Pategi, for his generous initiative in providing scholarships to 200 students.

This scholarship programme, facilitated through the Aliyu Ahman Pategi Foundation, has been instrumental in supporting deserving students in their academic pursuits.

In a statement released by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Muhammed Muhammed Jiya, the management expressed gratitude for the timely support, emphasizing its significant impact during this critical period.

During his address at the matriculation ceremony on Saturday, 16th March 2024, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the closure of the 2023/2024 admission process, marking the commencement of the 2024/2025 admission processing. He also conveyed the founder’s message to the public, indicating the conclusion of the scholarship support for the previous admission cycle, which benefited no fewer than 200 students.

The Aliyu Ahman Pategi Foundation implemented a noteworthy strategy by offering a 50% discount to students from the North Central region. Furthermore, the foundation extended an additional 50% discount to beneficiaries under its auspices, resulting in a substantially reduced financial burden for students. As a result, eligible students were able to enroll in their desired courses across various departments at fees as low as N142,900, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to facilitating access to quality education.

The university administration, faculty, parents, stakeholders and students alike as well as university community commend Hon. Aliyu Ahman Pategi for his unwavering dedication to education and social development, which continues to positively impact the lives of students within the university community and beyond. This gesture underscores the profound commitment of both the university and its founder to fostering academic excellence and inclusivity.
