The Management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, invites all prospective applicants seeking admission into the Dual Mandate NCE 100 Level and Direct Entry (300 Level) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session to attend the admission screening exercise as scheduled below:

- Date: Monday, 3rd August – Friday, 7th August, 2026
- Venue: Chris Abutu Garuba Hall
- Time: 9:00am Daily
NCE: The College offers 27 Programmes which includes:
- Languages
- Science
- Arts
- Education
- Vocational
- Humanity
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Dual Mandate NCE (100 Level):
Applicants must possess a minimum of four (4) relevant O’ Level credit passes, including English Language and/or Mathematics.
Dual Mandate Direct Entry (300 Level):
Applicants must possess:
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE); and
- Five (5) relevant O’ Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
GENERAL INFORMATION
All applicants are required to present the following during the screening exercise:
- O’ Level Verification Code obtained from the relevant examination body (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS) for verification and upload at an approved CBT Centre or Institution Professional Registration Centre (IPRC).
- Evidence of 2026 JAMB Registration.
- Original and photocopies of all academic credentials.
- Evidence of payment of the N2,000 Admission Screening Fee.
- Applicants must appear in person for the physical screening exercise.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Candidates who previously applied for the College Degree Programmes or Affiliated University Degree Programmes before the implementation of the Dual Mandate Policy will be considered for admission into the College’s NCE and Degree programmes, as applicable.
- Prospective candidates are required to obtain their O’ Level Verification Codes, generate their JAMB Profile Codes, and complete registration through approved CBT Centres or the Institution Professional Registration Centre (IPRC).
- Fresh applicants seeking admission into the Dual Mandate NCE Programme who are yet to register with JAMB for 2026 are advised to do so immediately at any approved CBT Centre or the Institution Professional Registration Centre (IPRC).
- Admission under this exercise shall primarily be into NCE 100 Level.
- Students admitted before the implementation of the Dual Mandate Policy will continue and complete their NCE or Degree programmes without interruption.
- In addition to their academic programmes, all admitted students will benefit from the College’s Skills Acquisition Programme at a highly subsidized rate.
- The College also offers Special Education Programmes.
