Bells University Resumption Date 2025 Announced [UPDATED]

Bells University Resumption Date 2025 has been announced

This is to inform all our students that the resumption date after the Christmas and New Year break has been fixed for Sunday 5th January 2025. Please note that mid-semester tests will hold from Monday, 6th January to Friday, 10th January 2025. All students must take part in the tests.

Previous Update

We are particularly grateful to the Executive members of Bells University Parents’ Forum (BUPF) for their continued support and contributions to the orderly growth and development of the University.

Consequently, all returning 300-500 level students are requested to note the following resumption protocol and prepare accordingly for the resumption:

A. AT THE UNIVERSITY’S MAIN GATE

  • Parents and students entering the University on resumption day are expected to come through the main gate along Idiroko road.
  • All vehicles are to go through a mandatory security check at the University gate.
  • Clearance for admission into the halls of residence will be issued on college basis as follows:
    • a. COLENG – Marquee
    • b. COLNAS and COLMANS – ELT
    • c. COLENVS and COLFAST – Lecture Theatre 1

B. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Returning 300-500 level students are expected to arrive between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
  • All students are expected to have paid a minimum of 25% of their fees.
  • The Bursary Department will have a desk at each venue to confirm payments.
  • Course registration forms should be printed and submitted to departmental officers at each venue for processing within two weeks.
  • Students are to present hard copies of evidence of payment, course registration and room allocation forms for authentication at the reception points.
  • All students are expected to dress decently. Indecent dressing will not be tolerated.
  • All female students should have their hair at mid back length and of their natural hair colour (odd colours or tinted colours are not allowed). They are not also allowed to have tattoos, multiple piercings, (no nose rings and ankle chains etc.)
  • All male students are to cut their hair neatly and low; beards are to be clean shaved. Tattoos, earrings, neck lace, hand chains/beads/bracelets and braiding of hair are not allowed

C. AT THE HALLS OF RESIDENCE

Hall Wardens and other hall officials will coordinate halls of residence admission procedures as follows:

  • Presentation of clearance
  • Presentation of evidence of school fees payment.
  • Registration /Documentation.
  • Collection of hall identification card.
  • Collection of keys by occupants.
  • Room inspection by the porter and occupants;
