Bayero University, Kano celebrated academic excellence at its 39th Convocation Ceremony, with Kudirat Oyiza Abdulkarim emerging as the Overall Best Graduating Student.


A shining star from the Faculty of Agriculture, Kudirat achieved an outstanding CGPA of 4.92, a feat she attributes to unwavering commitment, sacrifice, and determination.
Reflecting on her journey, Kudirat revealed that from her very first year, she was resolute in her goal to graduate with distinction. “It was never an easy road, but I remained focused, dedicated, and consistent. Today, my dream has become a reality,” she said, radiating gratitude.
She expressed deep appreciation to Almighty Allah, her lecturers, and her parents for their immense support, acknowledging that their encouragement played a crucial role in her success.
Looking ahead, Kudirat aspires to become a researcher, aiming to contribute meaningfully to agricultural development. She described BUK as a life-changing institution, vowing to remain a proud ambassador of the university.
