EKSCOTECH Expands with 5 New Programs, Gets Accreditation for 5 Others.


The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval to Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero (EKSCOTECH) to commence five new programs in the 2025/2026 session.
The programmes are: ND Medical Laboratory Technology, ND Orthopedic Cast Technology, ND Health Education and Promotion, ND Medical Imaging Technology, and HND Networking and Cloud Computing.
According to a letter signed by NBTE’s Acting Director, Nursing and Health Sciences Programmes Department, Pharm. Ibrahim Salihu, the approval followed a resource inspection conducted by the board on December 9-10, 2025.
Similarly, the board granted accreditation to EKSCOTECH for five other programmes: ND Dental Surgery, ND Dental Therapy, ND Community Health, ND Public Health Technology, and ND Paramedics.
Commenting on the development, EKSCOTECH’s Rector, Dr. Olufemi Olubamise, applauded the board’s thorough inspection and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to quality education and producing skilled graduates.
