- Graduates with a degree in Mass Communication or a related field from an approved university
- HND holders with at least a Lower Credit in Mass Communication or something close, from an NBTE-recognised polytechnic

The programme runs for one academic session, split across two semesters. All lectures and practicals take place on FPTB’s main campus in Bauchi.
