Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Formerly (Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, FUAM) has released the proposed academic calendar for the 2021/2022 Session.

This is to inform the general public especially students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM) that the 2021/2022 Academic Calendar has been released.

Students returns to campus on Sunday 2nd April 2023

Registration and orientation commences for all students on Monday 3rd April 2023

Lectures commences on Monday 10th April 2023.

1st Semester 2021/2022 Academic Session

• Sunday, 2nd April, 2023 > Students return to campus (returning students)
• Monday, 3 April, 2023 – Friday, 7 April, 2023 > Orientation/registration for fresh & returning Students (1 week)
• Monday, 10th April, 2023 -Friday, 16 June, 2023 > Lectures (10 weeks)
• Monday, 10th April, 2023 – Friday, 14th April, 2023 > Late registration (1 week)
• Friday, 14th April, 2023 > End of Add/Drop of Courses
• Monday, 19th June, 2023 – Friday, 23rd June, 2023 > Revision (1 week)
• Monday, 26 June, 2023 – Friday, 14 July, 2023 > Examination (3 weeks)
• Saturday, 15 July, 2023 – Saturday, 29th July, 2023 > First Semester Break (2 weeks)
• Friday, 11 August, 2023 > First semester results should be ready for consideration by all Departmental Boards (4 weeks)
• Friday, 25 August, 2023 > First semester results should be For consideration by all College Boards (2 weeks)
• Friday, 1st September, 2023 > First semester results should be ready for consideration by Senate Committee on Exams (1 week)
• Thursday, 7 September, 2023 > First semester results should be ready for consideration by Senate (1 week)
