FUOYE / Federal Poly Ilaro HND Top-up (Conversion) Form 2023/2024 is Out [UPDATED]

Authorities of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro in affiliation with the Federal University Oye Ekiti, FUOYE invites application from qualified candidates for admission into the FUOYE – Fed Poly Ilaro B.Sc/B.Eng Top-Up for HND and Conversion Programme flagged off by the Directorate of Linkage and Affiliation Programme (DLAP) for 2023/2024 academic session.

The Top-Up (Degree and HND Conversion) Programme provides a platform where opportunities are made available for quality university education for the target beneficiaries.

It enables university graduates who are unable to stand out academically during the first degree due to one challenge or the other to remedy their results.

Also it allows HND graduates to upgrade their certificates to University Degrees.

FUOYE / Ilaro Poly HND Top-Up Admission: Objectives

The Objectives of the FUOYE Top-Up (Degree and HND Conversion) Programme are to:

• provide suitable academic programmes that would facilitate conversion from HND to university degree certification.
• make available contents and Instructions that would upgrade the quality of university degrees from Third Class end/or Pass.
• facilitate university education that will lead to change of degree/career, where necessary. 
• Create and academic level ground for university degree acquisition.

NATURE OF THE TOP-UP AND CONVERSION PROGRAMME AND  AVAILABLE COURSES

The programme holds on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The programme runs the same programmes with the regular parent University programmes at the undergraduate level.

The programme is essentially a weekend programme designed to cater for working class, middle class and junior workers seeking to improve on their qualifications and employment.

• University graduates with Pass or Third Class degrees
• HND graduates desirable of University first degree. Graduates with Interest In career change (e.g. graduate of Chemistry wishing to change career to Accounting, etc).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements:

• Applicants must possess a minimum of five(5) O’Level subjects at credit level In relevant subjects In not more than two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed programmes. English Language at credit level is compulsory for all candidates. 
• In addition, credit in Mathematics Is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into Programmes in the Faculties of Engineering, Sciences and social Sciences. 
• Minimum of Third Class Honors or Pass degree or HND certificate from a recognized institution is required for conversion programme. 
• Completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.

TUITION:  

The tuition fee is N173,900 per academic session payment in two installment is acceptable.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME: 

Two (2) years of six (6) semesters (15 weeks per semester). Subject to the management decision

LECTURE/CONTACT PERIOD: 

Lectures take place at the Engineering Complex, The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro on Full-Time basis.

How to Apply for FUOYE/ FPI HND Top-up Conversion Programme

 HOW TO APPLY AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE

1. Go to ddtsms.fuoye.edu.ng
2. Click on pay for application
3. Fill the required fields
4. Click on the submit button
5. Confirm the content of the screen and click on Detail confirmed button
6. Confirm the content of the next screen by clicking on Yes
7. Click on the Complete/re-validate payment (NGN15,000.00) button accordingly

 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS-

On the home page of the Federal University Oye website (www.fuoye.edu.ng), click on Top-Up and Conversion portal.

1. After payment is successfully made, you will be returned to FUOYE site.
2. Click on the submit button and follow the instruction on the screen.
3. Set new password for yourself as an applicant
4. Login to the application form by entering your application form number and the newly set password.
5. The form is divided into eight sections or steps which are filled in sequence.
6. To move to the next step, click on the continue button. If it does not advance, it means something is not right. Note the corresponding message on the screen and take the required corrective action.

• On the home page at fuoye.edu.ng, you may click on How to apply for an on-screen guide.
• Orange messages displayed on the screen means you are not doing something right. Read them and make adjustments accordingly.
• Ensure that all scanned uploaded documents and bold and legible.
• Step eight is where you pre-view your application form.
• To return to your form, click on return to form at ddtsms.fuoye.edu.ng
• To submit your form, ensure that all 7 steps are free of omissions then, go to step 8 and follow the guide written in orange colour

SCREENING SCHEDULE: The first screening for admission will take place on 28th October, 2023.

Closing Date: Sales of forms started from 14th August to 25th October 2023.
