FUT Babura Matriculation Ceremony 2026 Announced 

Federal University of Technology, Babura Matriculation Ceremony Date 2026 has been announced.

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Babura cordially invites the General Public to its Matriculation Ceremony of Undergraduate students, 2025/2026 academic session. The event has been scheduled to hold as follows;

• Date: Tuesday, 24th April 2026
• Time: 10:00am Prompt
• Venue: School of Applied Sciences, FUTB Permanent Site.

COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNS BY STUDENTS

All newly admitted 100 Level and Direct Entry Students are hereby informed of the following:

• Date of Matriculation The Matriculation Exercise is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 24th April 2026.
• Payment of Fee Students are required to pay a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (₦1,000.00) only at the Cash Office, Bursary Department, before the collection of the Matriculation Gown.
• Collection of Academic Gown Collection of the Academic Gown from the Academic Office will commence on Monday, 23rd March 2026.
• Forms to Complete All students are required to complete the Release of Academic Gown and Matriculation Oath Forms and return the same to the Academic Office along with the Academic Gown immediately after the ceremony.
• Attendance is COMPULSORY Attendance at the Matriculation Exercise is COMPULSORY for all newly admitted students. Failure to participate will disqualify the student from writing the First Semester Examinations.
• Return of Academic Gown Students are required to return the Academic Gowns immediately after the Matriculation Exercise. A penalty will apply for late return, while the full cost of the gown will be charged in the event of loss or damage.
