Hold a Hand Project Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme For Nigerian Students 2023 is Out. Below we show the eligibility and application process for this scholarship.
The Hold a Hand Project was instituted in 2018 to provide financial support to Nigerian students who are community leaders with familial financial challenges. Our aim is to empower these students to continue to strive for excellence amid adversity. The scholarship is awarded to first year students in good academic standing with leadership qualities and goals of serving their communities. The award covers tuition from second year until recipient’s final year.

Institutions:
The 2023 scholarship is only available to students at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

Selection Criteria
Applicant must:
- be a first-year student of UNN or COOU with proof of enrollment: admission letter/ acceptance fee receipt. Demonstrate financial need.
- Exhibit leadership and service in community and/or college.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 Scale, or 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Have a minimum score of 200 in UTME.
- Have a minimum of five credits at not more than one sitting, including English and Mathematics (WAEC or NECO).
- Communicate past college and high school tuition sources.
How To Apply For HAH Project Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme For Nigerian Students
- Application is available online at: https://t.ly/gobR
- Application must be submitted by 11:59 pm GMT +1 on the 30th of June 2023.
- Selected applicants will be notified before the 20th of July for online interviews.
- Selected applicants will be notified in August 2023 and tuition fees will be sent to their institutions.
- Recipients will be introduced to each other and will meet once a month for team community services.
