The management of Kano State Polytechnic has released the guidelines and procedures for retaking examination for the 2024/2025 academic session.


This is to inform the general public that the management of Kano polytechnic has released the guidelines and procedures for retaking examination for the 2024/2025 academic session as follows;
Commencement of the 2nd , 4th , 6th , 8th and 10th Semester Summer Examination Registration
This is to notify students that registration for the summer examinations for the above-mentioned semesters commences on Monday, March 30, 2026.
All concerned students should contact their respective departments for further directives.
𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:
𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮
Summer examination is optional for only graduating or spill-over students.
- Only students with carryovers and/or CIA are qualified.
- Students with DOS and DC are not eligible.
- Students withdrawn (academically or voluntarily) are not qualified.
𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚
𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐:
- Collect clearance form from Department.
- Visit MIS Office with the old registration fee receipt for assessment.
- Pay spill-over registration fees; for students who have not registered and sat for the 1st/3rd summer examinations (current school fees).
- Register for the 2nd/4th/6th/8th/10th summer exam with the following fees at Kano Poly Microfinance Bank:
- Central Registration Fee: ₦4,000.00
- School Registration Fee: ₦1,000.00
- Course Registration Fee: ₦2,000.00 per course

- Registration Period: Monday, 30th March to Friday, 17th April 2026.
- Revision Period: 30th March to Friday, 17th April 2026 (organized by Departments).
- Examination Period: Monday, 20th to Saturday, 25th April 2026.
