In his address, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, described the Centre as a major step in advancing research, advocacy, and community engagement on gender-related issues, noting that the initiative builds on the university’s commitment to empowering women and other vulnerable groups while stressing the need to address barriers to digital literacy and inclusion.
